Old McBrayer 2023 Limited Edition Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Regular price $64.99 Sale

Age: 5+ Years

Proof: 100 Proof

Source: Bardstown, KY

Mash Bill: 70/18/12 Corn/Rye/Malted Barley

Tasting Notes: The nose opens with toasted cinnamon, a touch of pepper, ripe plums, cherries and cedar planks. The palate on this bourbon bounces! It's ginger and nutmeg. Then there's a punch of green apple and orange zest. That moves to dried fruit and sweet oak. The palate feels like it dances around the spider graph as it finally hits a long finish of leather and dried oak.

This whiskey is the resurrection of one of the oldest brands in the history of Kentucky Bourbon. The story of Old McBrayer began in 1870 when Captain J.H. McBrayer founded a distillery that would soon be purchased by none other than W.H. McBrayer, famed early distiller and Bourbon industry icon. Known for its superior quality and superb flavor, Old McBrayer was a classic spirit preferred by whiskey connoisseurs of a bygone era.

Today, the McBrayer family honors the legacy he set forth with the revival of Old McBrayer Bourbon. Like the original, it’s been distilled, aged and Bottled-in-Bond in the heart of the Bluegrass region—the birthplace of the world’s finest quality Bourbon. With each sip, the legacy lives on.

Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since Prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County uses New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to produce whiskey in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, just steps from the former waterfront distillery district and the legendary site of the 1860s Brooklyn Whiskey Wars. Every drop the distillery sells is made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
