We’ve created a sampler gift box featuring four signature Barrell bottlings: Barrell Bourbon Batch 035, Dovetail, Vantage, and Seagrass. Supplies are extremely limited. Each kit comes with four Seelbach's etched whiskey tasting glasses and a tasting board. We're also including, for the first time, our 33 Books Seelbach's tasting notebook.
Each box includes four 100ml bottles of the following cask strength whiskeys:
· Barrell Bourbon Batch 035. The latest in our small batch bourbon series, Batch 035 is a blend of 6, 7, & 13 years old-old barrels from Tennessee, Kentucky, and Indiana. Tasting notes are banana bread on the nose is complemented by a myriad of herbaceous aromas from the rye grain. An earthiness intensifies on the palate. Bold spice settles down to rich, sweet notes of chocolate milkshake and frosted cinnamon bun. Water completely transforms the whiskey into a punch bowl of fresh and tropical fruits.
· Dovetail. A blend of whiskeys finished in blackstrap rum, Port, and Dunn Vineyards Cabernet barrels, Dovetail took almost a year to get right. It’s a uniquely delicious whiskey with a buttery texture and rich, spicy depth.
· Vantage. Vantage is a blend of straight bourbons finished in three distinct expressions of virgin oak: Mizunara, French, and toasted American oak casks. The result is a warm, elegant bourbon that highlights the many dimensions of oak.
· Seagrass. Inspired by a trip to the oceanside, Seagrass is a combination of Canadian and American rye whiskeys finished in Martinique rum, Madeira, and apricot brandy barrels. Ripe, juicy fruit sits at the core of this whiskey, wrapped by layers of leather, grassy herbs, and rye spice.
The Barrell tasting date is TBD, but we'll send a follow up email to those who purchase, and the tasting will be recorded for those who can't make it live.
