Regular price $89.99 Sale

We are Art of Alchemy, a small collective of friends working with other friends in the industry to bottle unique spirits for all to enjoy. We are unconventional in ways, blending exceptional distillates that could very well stand on their own. Our aim is to broaden horizons and collaborate with makers who like to push limits.

3-Year Rye Whiskey 80/12/8  Rye/Corn/Malted Barley 20 Barrels
6-Year Rye Whiskey 51/45/4 Rye/Corn/Malted Barley 8 Barrels
8-Year  Bourbon Whiskey 75/21/4 Corn/Rye/Malted Barley 12 Barrels

With this first release, we would like to express our gratitude to friend and living legend, Jim Rutledge. On his behalf, a portion of the proceeds from Blend No. 1 will be donated to the Appalachian Impact Fund.

Tasting Notes: The nose is tangerine with a little bit of oak  and toasted black pepper. It's soft on the nose. The palate is where this one starts to shine. There's tons of ripe fruit. Lots of baking spice. It's candied fruit topped with dried chili flakes. The competing flavor profiles work well to elevate the whiskey. The finish brings the palate in for a soft landing. It's lighter with some nice oak and fruit.

Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the first since Prohibition. Founded in 2010, Kings County uses New York grain and traditional distilling equipment to produce whiskey in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, just steps from the former waterfront distillery district and the legendary site of the 1860s Brooklyn Whiskey Wars. Every drop the distillery sells is made in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
